Registration
Registration will open on Eventbrite in December 2026.
Payment can be made by Credit Card/PayPal, or check. If paying by check, payment must be received within 30 days of registration, or your ticket will be cancelled.
This conference is only open to Child Passenger Safety Technicians & Instructors whose certification is in good standing. Approved speakers and exhibitors are also eligible to attend.
PLEASE NOTE: This event is limited to 500 attendees and is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you require pre-approval from your employer, please obtain it before registration opens to secure your spot.

$260 for Regular Conference Registration
Refunds
Registrations canceled in writing on or before 4/30/27 will be refunded after 5/26/27, minus a $25 admin fee. Absolutely no refunds after 4/30/27, regardless of reason.
CPS Conference attendees who are listed on a current CPS grant through NYS Governor's Traffic Safety Committee and are NYS Certified CPS Technicians or Instructors are eligible for reimbursement of registration fees. Attendee certification must be in good standing and costs must be in the approved CPS grant budget of the attendee's organization. Organization grant status must also be in good standing. Registration fees for no-shows or cancellations made after 4/30/27 are not eligible for reimbursement and will be the responsibility of the registering guest/organization.
Lodging
Lodging is covered for eligible attendees only
Hotel stays for eligible* conference attendees are covered by the New York State Association of Traffic Safety Boards (NYSATSB) on the following dates:
- Sunday, 5/23/27
- A limited number of rooms are available exclusively for those registered to attend the 5/24/27 Instructor Meeting Pre-Conference. NYSATSB will only cover the cost of rooms on 5/23/27 for those who registered AND attended the Instructor Meeting Pre-Conference.

- Tuesday, 5/25/27
*Who is eligible for an NYSATSB-covered room?
- CPS Conference attendees who are NYS Certified CPS Technicians or Instructors (Registrant's CPS certification must be in good standing for the room to be covered by NYSATSB)
- Approved Exhibitors and Speakers
Fees for rooms reserved by anyone other than those listed above will be the responsibility of the registrant.

How to make reservations?
All individuals reserving a hotel room must already be registered for the conference. For any reservations made without a conference registration purchased first, the hotel reservation will be cancelled.
All lodging reservations must be made via the individual hotel’s registration link (links will be made available when registration opens). Rooms reserved using any method other than these links will not be covered. Please note that a credit card will be required to reserve a hotel room. This card will only be charged for incidental purchases or if there is a no show/late cancellation. The registrant is solely responsible for managing their own reservation, including cancelling the room, if applicable.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the new conference location, many lodging options will require a shuttle to and from the convention center. Shuttling services will be provided courtesy of the NYSATSB at various times throughout the morning and afternoon.
